Telematch

20 of June, youth fellowship have a programme- telematch at church. This telematch is organized by all committee. The special thing is... this programme is proceeded at night.

This telematch had 1 ice breaking game, 4 station games and 3 complex games. The ice breaking game is lead by Kok Keong. The station games started after the ice breaking game is finished. Every participant is separated into 3 groups.

Station 1 game: balloon game- lead by Hsiao En.

1st group is lead by Gabriel. The member of this group are: Wang Sim, Wan Yi, Andy and Ray.

3nd group is lead by Alvin. The member of this group are: Sze Ern, Hsiao Hui, Tai Khiong and Eddie Chung.

2rd group is lead by Chia Yung. The member of this group are: Eileen Yeo, Sing Min, Wee Seng and Jarek.

This group is the last group came to station 1.

Station 2 game: blindfold walking game- lead by Brandon.

Gabriel's group played this blindfold game. Gabriel nearly fall down when he walked over the chair.

Andy walked too fast until Wan Sim can't catch up with him.

Station 3 game: throw water tissue game- lead by Aaron.

Chia Yung stood in front of his group member to waited the group member throw the water tissue to him.

Every group member need to turn around for 5 times before they throw the tissue to their group leader.

Station 4 game: water cup game- lead by Grace and Yu Ming.

The first person- Hsiao Hui need to take the water from the pail to fill up her cup by use her mouth. Then she need to pass the water to the second person.

The second person- Sze Ern need to pass the water to the third person.

The third person- Eddie Chung need to pass the water to the fourth person. The fourth person- Tai Khiong need to pass the water to last person- Alvin. Lastly, Alvin need to put his cup on the table.

The complex games started when the station games is finished. This complex games had 3 games. All of this 3 games is water games. Two of this games is lead by Kok Keong.

Proposals

I want to bring up a few proposals to the Youth comittee and to AaRoN (if he ever checks this blog).

1. The date of the programme 生日会 be changed from 29/08 to 08/08 or 15/08.
Reason(s) of change:
A. The farewell party of Rev. Wong 'might' be on that day.
B. The president, AaRoN and I won't be around during that period of time.

2. I suggest to close this blog IF there is no updates to this blog for a period of 2-4 weeks. IF closed, the next fellowship updates will be posted in our group in Facebook.

Youths are also allowed to post comments.

Half Day Trip at Pastor home

2 of June, some youth gather at Pastor house watch movie and play together. That day, Kok Keong elder sister- Boon Hong also join us. Before watch movie, some youth are played board games and rubik's cube.

The red t-shirt boy is our new friend.

After watched a movie- Hotel For Dog, everyone started played hide and seek, yeah!:)

See some one behind the plant ? Ya, that person is Brandon Yeo. He hide behind the plant when we play hide and seek. Actually, the first person hide at here is Hsiao Hui.

I'll have to call up the woman in charge tomorrow for confirmation again though. However there was a man there who helped me out with the colours too. You know what? Brain's a little fuzzy so I can't remember the exact details. Nevertheless, THE SHIRT WILL BE FINISHED WITH MY DYING WILL!!!!!!!

OK, SO! Our Youth Fellowship T-Shirt will be ready by the middle of next week. Fwish-sama here hadn't had the time this week to go over to the shirt maker's place because she was too busy with all the college applications and IELTS submissions. But results of her application to Singapore will be known by 30th March, 2009 so uptill then, she will still be handling the whole shirt process :3

Rev. Lee Ken Ang has already given me the permission to use his words and pictures from the book so EVERYTHIGN SHALL COMMENCE MONDAY 8D Post will be updated as soon as I confirm the pricing.

Uhm...Fish here again. It's important that I post this here because it may concern all of our safety.

Recently, there was an ex-prisoner who has been coming to our church a few times during the weekdays and wanting to join our Sunday service. He has numerous tattoos on his arms *and has a scary air about him too* He even stood outside while our service was going on once but didn't dare enter.

The dangerous thing about this is: We. Do. Not. Know. What. His. Purpose. For. Coming. To. Church. Is.

Once, a lady (from the English group) was waiting for someone in church. The guy suddenly came up to her and asked her whether he could join our Chinese group. She replied, "Sorry, I'm from the English group." She didn't dare to point him in the direction of our office since women were there and the ex-prisoner looked sort of disturbing.

He could've been mentally unstable *sort of like those weird types of people that suddenly appear in our church to join our service. Remember that pervert?*

Then, he asked her for money. He said "I want to eat. Give me some money." And she was like, "I can't give you money." So he answered, "Then borrow me money. I'll come back and pay you back."

But the lady was wary and said, "I don't have any money with me right now." She told this to my mum just now and offered the thought that the ex-prisoner may want to join our church just to leech money off us.

And another thing is, who knows what this man might do? We don't know what crime he has committed that earned him a sentence in jail. What if he suddenly comes into our church carrying a gun or something? The world's a dangerous place these days.

For you all's sake, please please be careful if you happen to see any suspicious characters loitering about. Report to an adult figure who is capable of handling the situation. Don't try to face them yourself or you may get hurt. I'm serious. I know there're some of you *koffahemkoffkoffnudge* who want to act heroic and try to protect us but sheesh that's just overrated, kay? Do not face things that you are not sure about.

Up and Running!

Hey, it's Fish here! A.k.a. Useless Piano Player/Mrs. Mukuro/Mrs. Cavallone. Finally, finally the GBC Youth's blog is done and I've sorted out all the small cranks and whatnot. Basically, we (as in the committee and hopefully me) will update all sorts of schedules and jobs to be done for almost every Saturday. Please please regularly check this blog as I will maintain it to the best of my abilities *heck, I've got two other blogs to update too*

The layout may also change periodically, if it gets too boring.

The person-in-charge for that particular Saturday will be posted here. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK, OKAY? I'd really hate for the hours I spent on this to go to waste. Moreover, we also have the Cbox!

The Cbox will function as a sort of 'message space' where you guys can leave comments/messages/notifications there. Just type in your name, your website/blog *if you have one* and your message and voila! it appears in the Cbox! No signing up/whatever crap needed! I'd also like to have feedback regarding the blog layout. If any of you are unhappy/dissatisfied with any thing in here, do not hesitate to comment so. But no flames. As in, no criticising to the point of hurting mine and other people's feelings.

I think that should cover most of the things about our GBC Youth blog. To add it as a link in your website/blog, just copy and paste this: < a href = " http: // gbteensz. blogspot. com" target = " _ blank " >GBC Youth< / a > don't forget to remove the spaces. However, type the 'a href' as 'a href' and leave the 'GBC Youth' as it is.
